For years the Jack Russell Terrier has been one of my favorite dogs and when asked 'what kind of dog should I get' the answer was always 'get a Jack Russell. Well none of them did, not sure if they were smarter than me or not, so we took the plunge and added Jiggs and Roxy to our family. What a joy, but must admit old people should not acquire short fast puppies, they can outrun you and are way too close to the ground to easily pick them up. Jiggs and Roxy are the short legged Russell Terriers also called Puddins or Shorties. Jiggs came to us from JRS in SCal, many thanks to you Joyce, and Roxy came to us from Connie and Wamo, PackaJack in AZ. Thank you Wamo for spoiling my little girl and Connie for the baby blanket and survival kit. Their official names are Just Jiggs of JRS and PackaJack Just Roxy. Jiggs mom Gossip of JRS is the first AKC Earthdog titled Russell Terrier and we hope to train Jiggs in agility and ground work. Roxy's dad is UKC GRCH Short Stop Meatball of W'AZ and her mom is UKC Ch Russellville Patchy of West AZ. Roxy will also take a turn at the agility course and ground work as soon as we get moved and an area is set up for them. We are contemplating calling this portion of the ranch Just A Dog Kennels.
